Tina Barrett - Director/Farm Financial Consultant

I am originally from Hordville, Nebraska (North of the Interstate between York and Aurora) where I grew up on a family farm.  The operation consists of mostly irrigated corn and soybeans.  I certainly learned a lot about the diversity of agriculture when I married a Panhandle native where farming is so much different than where I grew up!

I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May of 1999 with a degree in Agriculture Economics and an emphasis in Farm and Ranch Management.  I started as a consultant with Nebraska Farm Business after graduation and have also been the executive director since 2002.  I thoroughly enjoy working with clients all across the state helping to solve their financial needs and best manage their tax liabilities.

My husband, Anthony and I, have been married since 1998 and have four very active girls, Taylor, Natalie, Carly, and Anna at home.

Anthony Barrett - Farm Financial Consultant

I grew up on a cow/calf and dryland grain farm near Harrisburg, NE.  My parents are still active in that operation raising wheat, proso millet, corn, and forage crops for haying and grazing.  I graduated from UNL in 2000 with a BS in Diversified Agriculture.  I started with Nebraska Farm Business, Inc. on a part time basis after I graduated and became a Farm Financial Consultant in November 2002.  I passed the Enrolled Agent exam in 2009 which allows me to represent clients before the IRS.  I currently practice with a full client load offering accounting, tax preparation, W-2 & 1099 preparation, full payroll service, bill pay, and farm financial analysis.  NFBI specializes in farm analysis and farm taxation, working with clients throughout the great state of Nebraska.

My wife, Tina, and I are part owners of NFBI.  We have four daughters!  In our spare time (however much there may be) we love taking road trips and have driven to all 48 lower states with our kids.  We also stay busy with school activities and enjoy attending Nebraska volleyball games.  I also very much enjoy helping on our family’s farms.  Harvest is my favorite time of year and I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to help family, friends, or clients at harvest time.  One of my favorite places to be is in the seat of a combine or tractor!

I grew up in Firth, Nebraska on an acreage. I showed horses for about 12 years until I attended college. I was very active in FFA through high school, which prompted me to pursue an Ag Degree. I attended Northwest Missouri State University for a year and a half before transferring to UNL, where I graduated in December of 2016 with a degree in Ag Business.

Josie Foley - Associate Director

I grew up in southern Missouri where I worked on a farm for almost 10 years. I got lots of experience growing tom turkeys commercially and raising a herd of Polled Hereford cattle. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Agriculture Science and a minor in Equestrian Studies from Truman State University in December of 2014. I moved to Lincoln in 2015 to begin a Master's of Science. I am currently over halfway done with my Masters of Applied Science with a specialization in Animal Science and a minor in Agribusiness/Agriculture Economics. I began as the Associate Director with Nebraska Farm Business, Inc. in July of 2017.

I have a Diabetic Alert Dog named Jeter that stays with me everywhere I go to alert me to rapid and dangerous blood glucose movements. In my spare time, I love to hand letter, read, watch Netflix, and play and work with Jeter and my horse, Gunner.

Jeter Brolinn - Canine Assistant

I was rescued by Midwest Dog Rescue Network in June of 2015 from a kill-list at a Missouri shelter. I began training immediately to become my girls Diabetic Alert Dog. I graduated from Heads Up Hounds in September of 2015 and have been working for my girl since. I learned to smell when her blood glucose levels are being unruly and can alert her to dangerous blood glucose movements and levels. She says I keep her safe, but I am just doing my job the best I can. My favorite things are chicken, bacon grease, running, and practicing my tricks, all 20 of them! I love my girl, cuddling, hiking, napping, and agility. I might be on the smaller side, but I am definitely a black tricolor Aussie (Australian Shepherd).
